Called Peria Thiruvadi or the bigger feet of vishnu while Hanuman is called siriya thiruvadi, Garuda is vishnu’s prefered vehicle. The Vijaynagar kings had his image on their flags as well

thanks.The biggest Kal garuda(stone) is at Nachhiyarkoil.At urchavam 4persons carry him then8,16 ,32,64.The weight will increase and need more people.Same way the weight will decrise when he return
